May I present to you my completed project the "Vintage Photobooth"

In the beginning, a "normal" photo box was planned with which you can take pictures in a simple way. After initial technical planning and some research into what the market has to offer, it became clear very quickly - it would be one of many ...

So a new idea was needed. After further research and considerations, the question came up, why should it always be modern?

So the thought was born, the vintage style is needed!

The first achievement was an "old" plate camera from the beginning of the 19th century, which was very well maintained and actually has to take up the space in a showcase. With a plate camera you do not necessarily take a "quick" picture and specialist knowledge should also be available. The housing was therefore equipped with a modern DSLR.
The plate camera now even has a USB port for controlling the tablet on which the images are displayed. There is also an XLR connection for sound recordings.

The rest of the equipment (tablet, flashes, chargers and a WiFi hotspot) had to be accommodated as well, of course, the plate camera was placed on a wooden box that was built in-house and refined with beautiful parquet strips - was a puzzle game that continues the wood pattern of the plate camera.

Finally, the whole thing was placed on a wooden tripod that continues the vintage look.

This vintage photobooth is operated via the built-in tablet. The images are triggered on the touchscreen, after which they can be viewed. In the "mobile" version, the images can be sent directly by email or shared on social media. The "mobile" version also offers the option of recording short video sequences.

A big thank you goes to the hair studio Bergmann and the nice neighbor Kai Milte !!!
